Spoiler Alert: Something ALWAYS Trumps NOTHING 💪🎉
Hey Girl HEEEEYYYY
So, you’ve had a busy schedule, your nutrition’s been more “pizza and cookies” than “kale and quinoa,” lately and the thought of working out feels about as appealing as folding laundry. We’ve all been there! But guess what? Even if you can only squeeze in ONE workout this week, it’s totally worth it. 🙌
One is Greater Than Zero
I know, I know—sometimes it feels like if you can’t hit the gym five days a week and eat perfectly, why bother? But here’s the thing: every little bit counts. Every workout…and every SKIP is compounding <—the latter faster than the prior meaning our health is faster to decline than progress. That one workout is still moving your body, keeping your muscles engaged, and sending your brain some “I did it!” vibes, but also….#hormones. And trust me, that’s way better than throwing in the towel completely! 🏆
It’s All About Consistency (Not Perfection)
Think of exercise like brushing your teeth: even if you don’t do it perfectly every day, doing it once is still better than not at all. Every workout you do, no matter how infrequent, helps keep your body in the habit of moving, boosts your mood, and even gives your metabolism a little nudge. So, don’t sweat it (or do—just once a week is fine!). 😉
Goodbye, Guilt. Hello, Progress!
Your nutrition might not be winning awards right now, but that doesn’t mean all is lost. Exercise is still a mood booster, stress reliever, energy generator, and INSULIN/BLOOD SUGAR REGULATOR!!! Plus, it keeps you connected to your goals, even when life gets messy, cause there aint no such thing as not being busy. So, let’s kick guilt to the curb and celebrate every little bit of movement you manage to squeeze in. 🎉
Compounding Interest
Think of it this way: if you have a savings account and you keep adding $10 a week with compounding interest, growth occurs even though its miniscule. NOT depositing into the account OR making withdrawels…well, you get the idea.
Instead of ruminating on how busy and stressful life is, remind your body, “Hey, I’m still here, and I’m not giving up!” That kind of mindset is powerful, and it keeps you from feeling like you’ve fallen off the wagon completely. 🚴♀️💥
So, don’t stress if you’re not exercising every day or eating like a health guru. Just keep moving when you can, and know that any effort you put in is still a win. One workout is better than no workout, and it keeps you in the habit of showing up—for yourself.
Now go lace up those sneakers, even if it’s just once this week. Your future self will thank you! 🙌
Keep moving and remind yourself, cycles of on it and busy are NORMAL!!! It’s how you navigate them that matter. Don’t quit on yourself.
