What Makes a Fat Cell Work? |
Fat cells are not actually lost. Crazy right? Instead they are more like sacks, kinda like water balloons, that fill and empty but never fully go away. Within this cell “sack” is the mitochondria (power house of the cell) and the nucleus. There is also cytoplasm within the outer membrane made of salt, water, and various organic molecules. Inside the cell is the fat reservoir. The membrane acts like a dam, nucleus is the power station, mitochondria are the workers that open and shut the dam. Make sense? What matters a whole lot is understanding what drives the filling and emptying of the fat reservoir, the cell, which is the nucleus. This part tells the cell when to take more “fat” (toxins, hormones calories) in and when to release them as well as where to release them to. In order to control the nucleus, we have to know what THAT is…yes deeper into the rabbit hole we go… The NUCLEUS is powered by OXIDATION of organic molecules What the what does THAT mean? Basically it’s an exchange and breaking down of neurons and chemicals. It’s a lot to explain, requiring it’s own series of emails and I’m just not doing that. Essentially our nucleus needs PROTEIN and CARBS in order to function…yes BOTH! Depriving one or the other means a lower functioning operational system within your cell, which is why I constantly fuss at members of StrongHER to EAT MORE PROTEIN!!! The MITOCHONDRIA carries out the work of the NUCLEUS And the mitochondria also needs PROTEIN in order to carry out it’s duties. Go figure. Feel my theme here? Both the nucleus and mitochondria are made up of DNA and PROTEIN utilizing protein and carbs to do their daily duties! So one would conclude that not eating enough PROTEIN could lead to a stall in the emptying of fat cells…right? Todays conclusion…EAT MORE PROTEIN!My next email will dig into HOW the fat cell empties and fills! If you aren’t subscribed to the emails, now’s a good time to do that! Questions?
